Who We Are
Who We Are Looking For
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in data and BI, with proven expertise in building data platforms using Fabric (2+ years), Azure Synapse Analytics (5+ years) and / or Azure Databricks (5+ years) as well as creating Power BI reports (5+ years). (advantage with Microsoft Certifications: DP-203, DP-600, DP-700, DP-750)
- Strong proficiency in DAX, M-Code, and data modelling following Kimball principles (advantage with Microsoft Certification: PL-300).
- Strong proficiency in Python, and/or SQL.
- Knowledge of Azure Infrastructure (advantage with Microsoft Certification: AZ-305).
- Knowledge of Azure DevOps (advantage with Microsoft Certification: AZ-400).
- Exposure to Azure IaC (e.g. Terraform, Bicep) is considered a plus.
- Strong analytical thinking and structured, solution-oriented approach to problem-solving.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and proactively.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a high level of customer orientation and service mindset.
What You Bring
- Architect, build, and optimize modern data platform solutions based on Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse Analytics, and/or Azure Databricks, with a focus on Cloud Adoption Framework and Well-Architected Review.
- Design robust semantic BI models through performant star-schema designs, high-quality DAX calculations, clean-coding standards, and clear tenant governance.
- Collaborate closely with the sales team to present architecture concepts, solution scenarios, and demos to clients and win new projects.
- Represent Evora (Connect) as a thought leader by conducting workshops, publishing expert content, speaking at conferences, and actively shaping the data and analytics community.
- Understand Microsoft partner offerings (Solution Partner status, specializations, incentives, etc.).
